South of the Border (1/1)
Title: South of the Border
Fandom: Prison Break
Character/Pairing: Sara Tancredi/Michael Scofield
Word Count: 175
Rating: PG-13 in dialogue but probably a bit R where implied content is concerned
Spoilers: None
Summary: Michael gives Sara a geography lesson.
Other: This was written in response to the challenge issued to write a piece using nothing but dialogue. I'm surprised I was even able to do it; I feel slightly lost without an over-abundance of adjectives. On the other hand, strictly dialogue apparently makes me feel very porny...or maybe I just really wish Michael and Sara could get a little alone time without it being detrimental to the show's plot :)

"So...this is South of the Border."

"South of the Border was back in Mexico, Sara - we're in Panama."

"Right. Right, well...it's...it's hot here. Are you sure we're not directly on the equator?"

"Not quite. The equator is a bit further South."

"Are you sure? Because it feels--"

"I know my geography."

"Of course you do."

"So trust me. We're in Panama. I'll show you."

"You'll show me?"

"Uh-huh. We're here - right here in Darién Gap..."

"Ah...Darién Gap is in my bellybutton?"

"That's right. And Columbia is right...here...between...your hips..."

"Sara? You're sweating."

"Uh..I...I am. But so are you."

"Of course I am. It's...getting hotter the closer I get to--"

"The equator."

"Exactly. Because the temperatures down here are high all year round."

"So if my hips are Columbia, that makes...my legs..."

"Your thighs. Ecuador and Brazil, maybe. Definitely a tropical climate."

"And the equator...the...the...equator..."

"Runs between them."

"Your tongue is a very worldly traveler. I never knew it could cover so much...oh. Oh, God...I get it now. So that's the equator."
